About this Piece   Just before the sun slips behind the Colorado foothills, the sky glows a bluish grey to brown and even sometimes to tangerine. Each time I witness the sunset here, I skip a breath just to be still enough to take all that is in my view. Sometimes it is so surreal that feels as if I am really not on earth at all--I am floating somewhere else high above it all just watching it all play out. This necklace is inspired by the beauty I see here everyday in the place I love. A 6 mm faceted labradorite gemstone is bezel set atop a hand-formed sterling silver oval/circle shape. The pendant swings from an 18-inch sterling ball chain that is secured with a spring ring clasp. All of the sterling has been gently oxidized and rubbed out by hand for drama and depth, creating a truly original and organic design. Complimentary Gift Wrap!
