About this Piece   Where I grew up, this time of year the fields are thick with golden wheat ready for harvest. The contrast of sunny yellow wheat with the rich soil from the fields and the horizon above it are forever imprinted in my mind. This stacking 'button' ring set pays omage to the memories of the place where I grew from a seedling into my adult self. This ring set includes 6 mm rose cut citrine, 6 mm faceted smoky quartz and 6 mm faceted labradorite stones--all set in sterling bezel cups atop hand-hammered sterling ring shanks. The rings have been gently oxidized to bring out the hammered textures in the ring shanks, which measure about 2 mm across.
